Health and Wellness Plans

Employees may enroll dependents, including spouse or domestic partner (same or opposite sex) and children (employee’s children, spouse’s children, or domestic partner’s children) up to the age of 26 in our medical, dental and vision plans.

QinetiQ North America pays a significant portion of the employee’s medical insurance premium through Aetna.  Aetna offers an extensive network of providers, hospitals and facilities to meet employees’ healthcare needs.  Employees are offered a choice of two Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plans through Aetna:

  • A High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) which features a substantial company contribution to a portable Health Savings Account (HSA) and substantially lower premiums in comparison to the traditional PPO option, and
  • An 80/60 traditional PPO with low office visit co-payments and low prescription costs
  • A 100/80 traditional PPO with low office visit co-payments and low prescription costs

A comprehensive dentalDeltaDental plan is available through Delta Dental of MA.  The plan provides  low deductibles, a generous benefit maximum, and orthodontia coverage for both children and adults. The plan pays 100% toward preventive and diagnostic care if using an in-network provider. The costs of preventive and diagnostic services are not counted against annual plan maximums, leaving participants with more benefit funds to apply toward restorative work.

Our vision plan is administered by Aetna. Coverage includes benefits for eye exams, lenses, frames and contact lenses. Employee’s annual routine eye exam is part of the preventative services covered in full under QinetiQ North America’s  medical plans.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
QinetiQ North America’s confidential EAP program is available to employees and their family members and offers professional counseling services designed to help address personal, legal, and financial issues.
